Nothing is more important than your health and safety. Safety at work is important for you and those around you. A young worker is a person 15 to 24 years of age who performs work or supplies services for monetary compensation. A new worker is a person of any age who has been on the job less than six months or has been reassigned to a new job.

 

This course is a general introduction to workplace Health and safety and does not replace or substitute for any training required by legislation or that is specific to your industry or workplace. You may require additional training instructions.

 

 

Upon the successful completion of this course learner will have a better understanding of

 

 

  • Policies and Procedures, communication support.
  • Common hazards and risk factors.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
