I can hear your thoughts… What? Welding as a great career?  But yes, it’s true!

Did you know that there are over 100 OPEN JOBS in welding in Brantford-Brant, just waiting for someone to step up and say, “Hire Me!”?

Are you interested but not sure if its’ the right “fit” for you?  Conestoga College offers a GMAW Welding program in partnership with Six Nations Polytech right here in Brantford at the Elgin St. Campus.  It’s an 8-week course for under $4,000.00 all covered by OSAP, and starts every couple of months (next course is in November). Upon completion of the course you will have the skills needed to get an entry level job in welding.

If you are looking for a career change, try the skilled trades. There are lots of high paying and fulfilling jobs available and waiting for people to step in to them. The local Employment Ontario offices (Career Link, CRS, and St. Leonard’s Employment Services) can assist you with information and connections to courses and funding options to help you get started on your new path.
